Zo from the UK loves nature, music, plants, cooking and sewing. Zo’s sincerity, care and humour are missed terribly by family and friends. An avid reader, Zo is a final year student, continuing to work on their thesis with supervisor’s support despite prison challenges. Zo has engaged in peaceful demonstrations and dialogue against genocide, racism and colonialism in solidarity with the people of Palestine, Sudan and DRC. Involved in local events like community kitchens, Zo is known for their warm presence and delicious dishes. Zo adores children and recently worked as a baby-sitter.
Zo writes “I’m crying … thinking of the countless children whose parents and families had to collect their body pieces into plastic bags... Thinking of Hind Rajab – murdered by the IDF … May justice be sought for these babies murdered for the only ‘crime’ of being Palestinian. This is not normal, and cannot be normalised despite all the attempts to do so.”
